Primordial Dimensions

Chapter 395: No Time

Chapter 395: No Time

Without wasting any more time, Shane decided to tame the lesser forest spirit.

This didn’t take long, and he only had to simply activate his Innate Taming Skill that manifested a faint magic circle right in front of him.

Laying down the Egg of the lesser forest spirit, he noticed that it was wriggling slightly, but it had already calmed down after a few seconds.

Standing in the center of the magic circle, Shane noticed a faint connection building up with the lesser forest spirit as he received a system notification.

[Lesser Forest Spirit (egg-form) has been tamed! Congratulations to the host!]

Once that was completed, Shane’s taming skill was finally filled with three out of three beasts having been successfully tamed.

Because Shane didn’t know when the lesser forest spirit would hatch, he could only wait. However, at the same time, he wanted to take a look at its characteristics, and if there was something he had to pay attention to.

_______________

Name: [=]

Race:[Lesser Forest Spirit(Egg)]

Rank: [0th-Wild stage]

Quality: [Trash](+)

|Evolution|

Affinity: -Basic-Nature

          -Basic-Wood

Ability: [Locked]

Loyalty: [6%]

_______________

Reading through every single characteristic carefully, Shane noticed three things.

First, the lesser forest spirit had two affinities, nature and wood.

This was something Shane hadn’t expected to see because the wood affinity was a branch-affinity of the nature affinity that was in control of everything.

With the nature affinity, one could already control wood and other plants, and the wood affinity was just more focused on wood as sole controllable objects!

Shane found this interesting, but even more so were the second and third notifications he realized only a few moments later.

“Its loyalty had already increased to [6%]? And what about its quality..? I can upgrade the lesser forest spirit’s quality while it’s still in the egg?”

All three things Shane had noticed were great because he wouldn’t have to waste any time in waiting for the lesser forest spirit to hatch.

As such, he decided to increase its quality as high as possible while being on Masua to cultivate.

Shane noticed that the lesser forest spirit had been absorbing traces of mana from the surroundings and he assumed this to be one of the requirements for it to hatch.

There might be more, but the most important things about the lesser forest spirit were to increase its quality and enable it to reach perfect loyalty!

Nevertheless, Shane first changed his clothes while enduring the pain as his body was still sore due to the injuries, only to leave the big hall.

Cosmo and Umbra were already inside the Hidden Paradise and it was only the egg of the lesser forest spirit that remained in his arms.

This was an attempt to increase its loyalty a little bit faster, and Shane hoped that it would work.

While he was walking towards the Dimension portal that had been flooded a month ago, he couldn’t help but smile.

His artisans had already repaired the destroyed bridge and it was no problem for him to reach the Dimension portal.

The pain that swept through his body was still excessive but ignoring it was the best option he had right now.

While he emerged on Masua, Shane had been thinking about his Astral Artisans and the Starlight guild.

Apparently, the situation was extremely grave, and knowing that he had only one year as he had given this time to himself, his funds were not on par with the things he had to prepare before the disaster would descend.

As such, Shane made a decision.

Initially, he had planned to save up his funds to awaken his soul bound world’s mana heart. However, after Shane had finally chosen the type of heart awakening he wanted, it had become apparent that saving would do little to help him.

Right now he had saved more than 200,000,000 gold coins, but it was only a fifth of what he required, including the Hidden Shop’s discount he had obtained by perfecting his physique!

Other than that, he had barely enough Supreme tickets, otherwise, the entire plan Shane made would have been useless.

200 million gold coins were not enough, considering that his Astral Artisans were currently only making around 30 million gold coins amongst which he could only save up 15 every month.

With that thought, Shane realized that he had to change something.

Thus, he invested almost 200 million gold coins, barely putting aside 100,000 gold coins, in order to provide his entire faction with new funds to increase the number of rare blueprints, equipment, new personnel, and so on.

At the same time, he explained to Talia that the investments would stop pouring in exactly three months.

This included all investments, even those that were normally used from the Astral Artisans’ profits to further invest.

Even though Talia raised her eyebrows upon hearing Shane’s decision knowing very well that the Artisans would complain, she was also aware that there was a certain emergency clause in everyone’s contract that allowed Shane to change the distribution of the profits however he wanted.

In the end, altering the shares to tweak the profits received by the Astral Artisans wouldn’t be clever because they would start to slack off without their prior motivation.

Because Shane paid attention to this, Talia could only sigh in relief.

At the same time, she realized that Shane was trying to maximize their capabilities during the next few months, only to reap the profits afterward.

Meanwhile, Shane had already appeared on Masua, with faint mana currents enveloping him tightly.

This allowed him to ignore the change in the gravitational force, only to slightly lessen the amount of mana around his body, adjusting it slowly to the higher gravitation on Masua.

He had already fully utilized his soul bound world’s mana absorption, rapidly draining the surrounding mana while walking towards the same old position he had cultivated many times already.

Shane was thankful for the Elus race to have given him so many opportunities to improve faster than it would have been possible on Igra.

It was only because of them that he had reached his current strength in such a short time.

As such, Shane had decided to tell them everything that was about to happen.

He didn’t mention the note and everything he communicated to Princess Ilya and Old Emperor Kalur was something Shane had already known before reading the note.

Somehow, the note could be considered as the evidence to prove his assumption to be correct and nothing else!

Nevertheless, it had been useful, and Shane finished writing his message before focusing on his surroundings.

“If I sleep only for a few days during the next three months, it should be enough…”

He knew that he was currently thinking of straining his body once again, but there was nothing Shane could do about it.

If he wanted to reach a mana purity of [97%] during the next few months, he had to absorb mana from the Hidden Paradise to prevent wasting time with absorbing mana as he was still obliged to annex and purify it!

Furthermore, sleep was something he definitely could cut down on and keep it the bare minimum.

The surrounding mana and cultivating in the zone should be more than enough to prevent him from becoming sleepy.

Only increasing his newest tamed beast’s quality and loyalty was important other than cultivating!

As such, he sat down on the ground, surrounded by Umbra and Cosmo, while the Egg of the lesser spirit laid in his lap, silently absorbing mana while getting to know its surroundings and the being that had just bound it!
